with combustible sludge
It is the machine that makes solid fuel from combustible sludge. In other words, it moulds separated solids into pellet fuels after separating combustible sludge into solids and liquids.
Solidification of sewer sludge is one of the cheapest disposal treatments out of the existing treatment methods (23,328 KRW/ton). It solidifies sludge with a solidification agent made of quicklime and cement and then they are used as cover materials for landfill. However, there have been some problems in the process; bad smell due to high pH of strong alkaline solidification, increasing heavy metal density, lack of disposal alternatives other than cover materials of produced solids. In addition, the existing dry method consumes excessive energy, costs a lot of money due to the import of dryers and has limited alternatives for the dried materials after treatment even though it reduces the volume dramatically.
This new technology mixes sewer sludge and solidifier with our sludge mixing method (patent 0305689, "Method for solidifying treatment sludge by using Hammer-mixer"). Then, it makes them as particles and dries them. It also removes bad smell, stabilizes and makes them as pellet by heating at the molding machine where it consumes minimum heat and makes them stable. It also resolves the bad smell and heavy metal problems by producing solids with forceful air circulation system that uses waste heat of heat source equipment at the vertical curing Siro (also decreases liquid holdup, removes bad smell, increases press pressure, and reduces heavy metal emissions). The necessary heat is provided by the steam produced from the previous steps of drying and molding.
Produced solids can be used as cement and soil conditioner as well as cover materials at landfill.
